Directs the operations of all schools within a designated TUSD region. Leads, manages and administers the operations and functions of the designated district Elementary, K-8, Middle and High Schools. Master's Degree in Educational Leadership, Curriculum and Instruction, or related area
AZ Superintendent’s or Administrative Certficate; e.g., Principal K-12 Certificate
Current Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
Three (3) years teaching experience in High School, Middle School, Elementary, or K-8
Three (3) years experience as either High School, Middle School, Elementary, or K-8 Principal
Experience developing and managing budgets
Experience facilitating the development and implementation of a District Mission, Vision, Goals, and/or strategic plan
Arizona Superintendent's Certificate or eligibility to obtain such certification
Doctorate Degree in Educational Administration/Leadership, Curriculum and Instruction or related area
One(1) to three(3) years in central office administration or site administrative experience in an educational K-12 District.
Experience as an assistant superintendent, associate superintendent, deputy superintendent or superintendent of schools, district level director, supervisor, management position.
Experience in a diverse and multicultural environment.
Experience in a large, urban school district.
Experience with Desegregation Orders and Unitary Status Planning and Implementation
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS AFTER HIRE
Proof of immunity to rubeola (measles) and rubella (German measles), or proof of MMR immunization.
