Supervises the management and operations of the Maintenance Shops in the Facilities Department. Includes, but not limited to: Fire Safety, Electric, Lock, Plumbing, Paint/Glass, Carpentry/Roofing.
Bachelor’s degree AND
Five years’ experience managing large building operations and maintenance program to include the construction trades
Ten years’ progressively responsible experience supervising large-scale facility maintenance.
Knowledge and ability to use word processing, database, and spreadsheets.
Any equivalent combination of training, education or experience that meets the minimum requirements.
Experience working collaboratively in partnership with various labor unions and collective bargaining agreements.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS AFTER HIRE
FBI fingerprint background check (at employee’s expense).
Proof of immunity to rubeola (measles and rubella (German measles), or proof of MMR immunization.
Valid AZ Driver’s License required within 10 days of hire. Must not have accrued eight points against driver’s license within the past two years.

12 month position
Positions less than 30 hours per week are not eligible for district benefits.
