Fabricates, upgrades, installs, repairs, and maintains mechanical structures and equipment to include welding, sheet metal, HVAC, electromechanical, motorized equipment, carpentry, glazing, plumbing incinerator operations for district’s schools. Operates specialized heavy equipment.
Four years fabricating, sheet metal, welding, plumbing, HVAC, and electrical trades experience.
Experience in the repair of refrigeration equipment, absorption, centrifugal cooling systems, high pressure vessels, and various heating and cooling equipment.
Completion of a recognized training or apprenticeship program in the field.
Verbal & written communication skills in English and a demonstrated ability to read and comprehend written/graphic and oral instructions.
Any equivalent combination of experience, training education.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS AFTER HIRE
FBI fingerprint background check (at employee’s expense).
Proof of immunity to rubeola (measles) and rubella (German measles), or proof of MMR immunization.
Post-offer/pre-employment lift test.
Valid Arizona Driver’s license
