Job Description

SUMMARY
Prepares and serves meals and snack bar items from a steam table, grill, snack bar window, or mobile station. Work includes Cake decorating and catering. This position requires flexibility in work hours to include evenings and weekends as needed Collects and records payment for items received. Completes required logs and records. Position hours are adjusted throughout the year based on customer participation volume. Work may involve occasional lifting and carrying objects weighing up to 35 pounds as a regular part of the job. This position requires flexibility in work hours to include evenings and weekends as needed.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Six (6) months food service and cashiering experience, or related experience.
Demonstrated math and reading skills at the fifth grade level.
Verbal & written communication skills in English and a demonstrated ability to read and comprehend written/graphic and oral instructions.

Cake Decorating Experience

Catering Experience


ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS AFTER HIRE
FBI fingerprint background check
Proof of immunity to rubeola (measles) and rubella (German measles), or proof of MMR immunization

Post-offer/pre-employment physical exam and 50lb lift test.

Effective: 2025-2026 SCHOOL YEAR
Location: Food Services - 2150 East 15th Street
Classification: White Collar/Food Services

9 month Position - .75 FTE - 6 hours per day

12 Month Position - 1.0 FTE - 8 hours per day

Positions less than 30 hours per week are not eligible for district benefits.
