Director - Human Resources (Effective 2021-2022 SCHOOL YEAR)
Executive Director of Human Resources
Working under the direction of the Executive Director of Human Resources and serving as a member of the Human Resources Leadership Team, the Director of Human Resources is responsible for managing the Human Resources related functions of the District. The Director will lead District efforts in areas such as recruitment and selection, compensation, certification, customer service, employee records, and HR general operations. By understanding the District’s needs and developing effective relationships with internal and external customers, the Director of Human Resources will be responsible for assisting district leadership, employees, and potential employees in addressing a variety of administrative needs and processes.
Master’s degree in Business Administration, Business Management or Human Resources, or a related field
Three (3) years of experience in Human Resources or related field;
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Business Management or Human Resources, or a related field
Six (6) years of experience in Human Resources or related field;
Eleven (11) years of progressive human resource/personnel experience.
Knowledge of federal and state legislative requirements related to Human Resources
Three (3) years supervisory experience
Knowledge and ability to use word processing, database, and spreadsheet programs.
Verbal & written communication skills in English and a demonstrated ability to read and comprehend written/graphic and oral instructions.
Any equivalent combination of experience, training, or education.
SHRM-SCP or SPHR Certification
Experience working in a K-12 education setting
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS AFTER HIRE
FBI fingerprint background check.
Proof of immunity to rubeola (measles) and rubella (German measles), or proof of MMR immunization.
Must hold a current Arizona Driver’s license and have accrued no more than the allowable points against Driver’s License as described under Governing Board Policy: EEB-R-1 Business and Personnel Transportation Services - Transportation by Employees.

LOCATION: Human Resources - Broadway & Euclid Area
FTE: 1.0 - 8 hours per day
Work Calendar: 12 month
