Job Description


To provide audiology services and supports to students in general education and those receiving special education services. Coordinates with nurses to accomplish district-wide screening. Evaluates and monitors students with suspected hearing loss and works with the IEP team to develop a plan to meet the specific needs of students who qualify for audiology services. Coordinates the placement of appropriate equipment to support classrooms and students.


Master’s degree in Audiology or Doctor of Audiology

ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence-Audiology

Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance

Independent and reliable means of transportation

Required to have National Provider Number (NPI) and Arizona Health Care Containment System (AHCCCS) numbers

Any equivalent combination of experience, training or education.


Knowledge of electro-physiological measures

Knowledge of computer applications in Audiology


Proof of immunity to rubeola (measles) and rubella (German measles), or proof of MMR immunization.

Bloodborne Pathogen training offered by TUSD Risk Management Department.

Valid Driver’s License

MVReport - showing no more than the allowable points against Driver’s License as described under Governing Board Policy: EEB-R-1 Business and Personnel Transportation Services - Transportation by Employees.

Reliable mode of personal transportation with evidence of insurance compliance greater than or equal to the state required minimum for car insurance as described under Governing Board Policy: EEB-R-1 Business and Personnel Transportation Services - Transportation by Employees


Effective: 2022-2023 SCHOOL YEAR
Location: Exceptional Education - sites vary
FTE: 1.0 - 7.5 hours per day
Work Calendar: 9.5 month

Positions less than 30 hours per week are not eligible for district benefits.
