Job Description

SUMMARY

Under general supervision plans, coordinates and develops extracurricular activities to ensure equal access for all students to increase student participation. Monitors and coordinates tutoring programs as needed. This position disseminates information regarding the extracurricular program, performs related work as assigned, and serves as the liaison between the schools and the Interscholastic program.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Associate's Degree in Education, Physical Education, Recreation, or a related field AND

Three [3] years of experience administering or coordinating programs.

Knowledge and ability to use word processing, database, and spreadsheet programs.

Any combination of experience, training, or education.

Plus all of the following:

Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance

Valid Driver’s License.

MVReport – showing no more than the allowable points against Driver’s License as described under Governing Board Policy: EEB-R-1 Business and Personnel Transportation Services - Transportation by Employees.

Reliable mode of personal transportation with evidence of insurance compliance greater than or equal to the state required minimum for car insurance as described under Governing Board Policy: EEB-R-1 Business and Personnel Transportation Services - Transportation by Employees

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Experience working in Education or Physical Education field.

Experience working with student tracking software such as Synergy

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS AFTER HIRE

Proof of immunity to rubeola (measles) and rubella (German measles), or proof of MMR immunization.

Location:Interscholastics Department - Pima & Dodge Area
Classification: White Collar – Grade: 12

FTE: 1.0 – 8 hours per day
Work Calendar: 10.5 month

Positions less than 30 hours per week are not eligible for district benefits.
