This position provides a high level of customer service to Tucson Unified School District (TUSD) sites and departments regarding the status of facilities maintenance work orders. The Customer Service Specialist analyzes, determines, and resolves problems, or initiates work orders. This position provides professional follow through with sites, departments, and personnel to ensure internal customer satisfaction
High School Diploma or G.E.D.
Five (5) years progressively responsible customer service experience, to include authority to resolve problems.
Experience presenting information to various size groups
Experience providing training to personnel
Word Processing/Database/Spreadsheet Program Knowledge
Valid Driver’s License required
Verbal & Written communication skills in English and a demonstrated ability to read and comprehend written/graphic and oral instructions.
Any equivalent combination of experience, training, or education.
One year in a trades or maintenance working environment, and problem-solving experience.
Ability to think critically and utilize analytical skills to solve problems
Supervisory experience in a customer service environment
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS AFTER HIRE
FBI fingerprint background check (at employee’s expense).
Proof of immunity to rubeola (measles) and rubella (German measles), or proof of MMR immunization.
Motor Vehicle Report - must not have accrued six (6) points against driver's license within the past two (2) years.
