Inspects vehicles to ensure safety standards are met and vehicles are in proper and safe operating condition. Maintain appropriate records.
Two years of skilled automotive repair experience required, to include mechanical and tire repair.
A Class A Learner's Permit required at time of hire.
Verbal & Written communication skills in English and a demonstrated ability to read and comprehend written/graphic and oral instructions.
Any equivalent combination of experience, training, or education.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS AFTER HIRE
FBI fingerprint background check (at employee’s expense).
Proof of immunity to rubeola (measles) and rubella (German measles), or proof of MMR immunization.
A Commercial Drivers License (CDL) with Air Brake, Passenger (P), and School Bus (S) endorsements required within 90 days of hire. An out of state CDL must be transferred to state of Arizona prior to hire. Must not have accrued eight (8) points against driver's license within the past two (2) years.
ADOT (Arizona Dept. of Transportation) Medical Certificate required after hire.
Post-offer/pre-employment lift test.
