Responsible to order, prepare and serve meals to SFSP participants, work independently, accurately complete daily paperwork, assure all SFSP and Health regulations are followed, and if assigned one or more Cafeteria Worker II, supervise their work assignments, monitor labor hours, & conduct performance reviews. Cafeteria Worker, Leads will report to the Summer Assistant Unit Manager.
Current TUSD Food Services employee
Current Food Sanitation Certificate required.
Must have skills with Microsoft Outlook e-mail and TimeClock Plus
Previous SFSP experience preferred with managerial experience in ordering food.
Selection criterion for position includes job performance and attendance histories during the regular school year and past summers.
Applicants with evaluations indicating excellent student/customer relationships and good organizational skills sought
Good verbal & written communication skills required
CW Leads accepting an assignment at a site responsible for an additional Non-TUSD site must provide own transportation to and from the non TUSD site when visits are required. Mileage reimbursed at the District rate.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS AFTER HIRE
FBI fingerprint background check (at employee’s expense)
Proof of immunity to rubeola (measles) and rubella (German measles), or proof of MMR immunization
LOCATION - Food Services - Various Sites
WCL - Grade 2
$11.50 per Hour
Minimum 4-6 hours per day
Summer Job Only
The majority of programs will begin Monday, June 4, 2018 to end Friday, June 29, 2018.
Additional time will be required prior to the start of the program to attend a paid 3-4 hour mandatory training session.
Each employee will be assigned to attend one of these sessions.
The length of employment, as well as the number of hours per day will vary depending upon program participation.
Sites that have breakfast and lunch will require the positions to be worked as a split shift.
Positions less than 30 hours per week are not eligible for district benefits.
