      SUMMARY
    Supervises the management and operations of District meals program service units and organizes and manages the department-wide computer system for production, menu management and materials management or cashiering and Federal Meals Program eligibility. Provides administrative support to the Administrative Coordinators and Director.

    MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
    Bachelor’s Degree in Food Service Management or related field

    Three years of experience in food services management or equivalent such as dietetic internship

    Two (2) years of production experience required;

    OR
    Associate Degree in Food Service Management or Culinary Arts Certification

    Five (5) years food services management experience required;

    OR
    Ten (10) years food service management experience inclusive of hands on production planning and production experience

    Coursework in computer science and computer applications, human resources, supervision, organization communications and marketing in progress (enrolled and attending) required

    Experience with data entry, reporting, and system design of computerized food service system required.

    Work experience with federal child nutrition program computerized eligibility and accountability system preferred.

    Verbal & written communication skills in English and a demonstrated ability to read and comprehend written/graphic and oral instructions.

    ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS AFTER HIRE
    21 credits of course work completed within 2 years of hire.

    FBI fingerprint background check (at employee’s expense).

    Proof of immunity to rubeola (measles) and rubella (German measles), or proof of MMR immunization.

    Must hold a current Arizona Driver’s license and have accrued no more than the allowable points against Driver’s License as described under Governing Board Policy: EEB-R-1 Business and Personnel Transportation Services - Transportation by Employees.

    ADOT (Arizona Dept. of Transportation) medical certificate required after hire.

    Positions less than 30 hours per week are not eligible for district benefits.
