    SUMMARY
    Assist in maintaining school grounds and athletic playing fields.

    MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
    Eighteen months grounds maintenance or landscaping experience,
    AND
    Completion of trade-school-level courses in horticulture, landscaping or related fields
    OR
    Completion of a DOL approved apprenticeship program.
    Six months of experience may be substituted for the trade-school-level courses.
    Basic math skills.
    Verbal & written communication skills in English and a demonstrated ability to read and comprehend written/graphic and oral instructions.
    Any equivalent combination of experience, training, or education.

    ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS AFTER HIRE
    FBI fingerprint background check (at employee’s expense).
    Proof of immunity to rubeola (measles) and rubella (German measles), or proof of MMR immunization.
    Post-offer/pre-employment physical examination and lift test (at District expense).
    Valid AZ Driver’s License required within ten days of hire. Must not have accrued eight points against Driver’s License within the past two years.

    LOCATION - Pueblo High School (Ajo & 12th Avenue area)
    Blue Collar - Grade 2
    1.0 FTE - 8 hours per day
    12 month position
    AM SHIFT - 6:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.
    Salary Range: $12.00 per hour - $12.55 per hour
    Salary commensurate with experience within the last 15 years.
