Job Description

SUMMARY

This position involves ensuring data accuracy and compliance with federal, state, and district policies, and assisting with their implementation. Key responsibilities include verifying data (certification, IVP, and 1st Aid/CPR), conducting internal audits on various employee credentials, and ensuring compliance with legal requirements. The role involves managing highly sensitive information with discretion, protecting confidential data, and reporting any breaches promptly.

Other duties include invoicing for fingerprinting fees, processing volunteer applications, arranging appointments and exams, and compiling HR-related reports. It also involves responding to staff and community concerns, providing HR policy guidance, and adhering to all legal and district regulations.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Associate’s degree in related field AND

Two (2) years of experience in administrative or human resources-related support roles in a business

OR

Four (4) years of experience in an administrative or human resource-related support role in a business office.

AND

One (1) year experience in basic accounting/bookkeeping practices and principles.

Proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite software applications, internet, intranet support, word processing, database, and spreadsheet programs.

Excellent customer service skills with strong interpersonal and analytical skills.

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Verbal & written communication skills in English and a demonstrated ability to read and comprehend written/graphic and oral instructions.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Professional HR Certification (SPHR, PHR, or approved HR certificate from an accredited institution).

Bilingual – Spanish/English

Experience in a school district setting.

Experience with Infinite Visions software.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS AFTER HIRE

FBI fingerprint background check.

Proof of immunity to rubeola (measles) and rubella (German measles), or proof of MMR immunization.
