Instructional Data & Intervention Specialist (Effective 2022-2023 SCHOOL YEAR)
Works with the Dropout Prevention Department to pinpoint, investigate, and capture relevant student data in order to reduce dropout rate. The Instructional Data & Intervention Specialist is committed to identifying, collecting and analyzing information specific to students who are on the verge of leaving or have already left school prior to graduation, evaluating the success of dropout prevention programs provided by the Dropout Prevention Department and various other departments within the district for the purpose of supporting students and deterring students from dropping out of school.
Knowledge of Droput Prevention Research
Aware of America's Promise Alliance
Familiar with the National Dropout Prevention Center
Understnads Tucson Unified School District Attendance Accounting policies/practices applicable to Dropout Prevention
Cognizant of Arizona Depart of Education policies/procedures as they pertain to Dropout Prevention
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS AFTER HIRE
Proof of immunity to rubeola (measles) and rubella (German measles), or proof of MMR immunization
Assists with data collection and report preparation as required by the Droupout Prevention Department
Effective: 2022-2023 SCHOOL YEAR
Location: Dropout Prevention - 1010 E Tenth Street
FTE : .5 - 3 hours per day
Work Calendar: 9.5 month
Positions less than 30 hours per week are not eligible for district benefits.

Probationary Contracts will be issued for any contingent Certifications, Positions that are 0.6 FTE or less, and certified employees within their first three years with the District.
