Job Description

SUMMARY
The Program Coordinator - Employee Relations, shall manage and provide support in the areas related to Superintendent Initiatives/Projects, Title IX, employee grievances, employee matters/inquiries, negotiation activities and labor relations matters. In addition, the Coordinator shall work closely with the Director of Employee Relations/Title IX Coordinator to support our school sites and departments ensuring overall compliance in all areas, including but not limited to, Title IX matters, EEO/discrimination complaints, employee grievances while exercising a high level of confidentiality in sensitive employee and District matters. Analyzes, evaluates, and ensures that the priorities and objectives for the Employee Relations department are accomplished according to established goals, time and funding limitations.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor’s Degree AND
Two years of experience administering or coordinating programs.
OR
Associate’s Degree AND
Four years of experience administering or coordinating programs.
OR
Six years of progressive experience administering or coordinating programs.
Knowledge and ability to use word processing, database, and spreadsheet programs.
One year of supervisory experience.
Knowledge of federal and state legislative requirements related to specific program.
Verbal & written communication skills in English and a demonstrated ability to read and comprehend written/graphic and oral instructions.


Some positions within this classification may require some type of certification.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Master’s Degree.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS AFTER HIRE
FBI fingerprint background check
Proof of immunity to rubeola (measles) and rubella (German measles), or proof of MMR immunization.

COMMENTS

Effective: 2024-2025 SCHOOL YEAR

Location: Employee Relations - 1010 E. 10th Street

Classification: Non-Bargaining

FTE : 1.0 - 8 hours per day

Work Calendar: 12 month

Positions less than 30 hours per week are not eligible for district benefits.
