School Security Agent - Traffic (Effective 2021-2022 SCHOOL YEAR)
Ensures that district premises are safe and secure. Monitors the behavior of students on TUSD campuses. Maintains order and ensures district and school policies, rules and regulations are adhered to. Implement and enforce traffic safety policy, practices, procedures and standards on district propery.
Two years experience working with Kindergarten through 8th grade.
Working knowledge in the area of conflict resolution/mediation.
Verbal & written communication skills in English and a demonstrated ability to read and comprehend written/graphic and oral instructions.
Any equivalent combination of experience, training, or education.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS AFTER HIRE
FBI fingerprint background check.
Proof of immunity to rubeola (measles) and rubella (German measles), or proof of MMR immunization.
Post-offer/pre-employment physical exam and lift test.
CPR and First Aid Certification
Valid Arizona Driver’s license
MVReport – showing no more than the allowable points against Driver’s License as described under Governing Board Policy: EEB-R-1 Business and Personnel Transportation Services - Transportation by Employees.
Satisfactory completion of phases I, II and III of Campus Monitor training within 90-days of hire.
Proof of an accredited bicycle safety course or TUSD bicycle certificate, or the ability to successfully complete the TUSD bicycle safety class within 90 days of hire.
