Job Description

SUMMARY

The Social Worker provides therapeutic counseling services and clinical interventions to all students. Develops counseling goals to support academic progress for both general and exceptional education students. Supports the campus education team to identify, access, and evaluate eligibility for services.


MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited graduate school of social work
Dependable mode of transportation

Availability to work flexible hours as needed

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS
Bilingual - Spanish/English

Current Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) issued by the Arizona Board of Behavioral Health

AHCCS provider number

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS AFTER HIRE

FBI fingerprint background check.

Proof of immunity to rubeola (measles) and rubella (German measles), or proof of MMR immunization.
Valid Driver’s License.
MVReport - showing no more than the allowable points against Driver’s License as described under Governing Board Policy: EEB-R-1 Business and Personnel Transportation Services - Transportation by Employees.
Reliable mode of personal transportation with evidence of insurance compliance greater than or equal to the state-required minimum for car insurance as described under Governing Board Policy: EEB-R-1 Business and Personnel Transportation Services - Transportation by Employees

FTE: 1.0 FTE / 7.5 hours per day
Work Calendar: 9.5 month

Positions less than 30 hours per week are not eligible for district benefits.

Probationary Contracts will be issued for any positions that are 0.6 FTE or less, and certified employees within their first three years with the District.
