Job Description

SUMMARY

Oversees, monitors, and maintains school sites’ computer network. Provides delivery of computer technology support to school personnel. Serves as a resource to help integrate technology into the curriculum and into the classroom. Serves as a liaison between schools and technology resources and departments within TUSD. Ability to prioritize and organize a variety of tasks.

Provides on-site technical support to schools and departments within the district. This includes, but is not limited to, delivering, troubleshooting and repairing computer hardware and software, printers, document cameras, and other educational technology devices. Serves as a resource to help in the effective and efficient use of technology. Acts as a liaison between schools or departments and the Technology Services Department. Able to prioritize and organize a variety of tasks and projects. Maintains a professional demeanor and provides courteous customer service to all staff members.


MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

High School Diploma or G.E.D.

Three (3) years computer operations, network, or related experience.

Minimum of one year of experience working in a school or educational technology environment,

Verbal & written communication skills in English and a demonstrated ability to read and comprehend written/graphic and oral instructions.


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

A+ Certification, CompTIAA+ Certification or other current/relevant technology-related certification.


ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS AFTER HIRE
FBI fingerprint background check.
Proof of immunity to rubeola (measles) and rubella (German measles), or proof of MMR immunization.
Valid Arizona Driver’s License
MVReport – showing no more than the allowable points against Driver’s License as described under Governing Board Policy: EEB-R-1 Business and Personnel Transportation Services - Transportation by Employees.
Reliable mode of personal transportation with evidence of insurance compliance greater than or equal to the state required minimum for car insurance as described under Governing Board Policy: EEB-R-1 Business and Personnel Transportation Services - Transportation by Employees.

Post-offer/pre-employment physical exam and 50 lb lift test.

Location: District Office - Broadway and Park area
Classification: White Collar

FTE: 1.0 – 8 hours per day
Work Calendar: 12 month

Positions less than 30 hours per week are not eligible for district benefits.
